Nothing leaves your device. Every tool on this site — dew point, relative humidity, psychrometrics, roof pitch, pipe friction loss, duct sizing, PT charts — is written in JavaScript that executes locally in your browser.
When you enter a temperature, a pressure, an airflow or a duct size, that value is processed on your own machine. It is not transmitted to this site, not written to a database, not logged, and not retained after you close the tab. There is no account, no login, and no submission step anywhere on this site.
This means project data you enter while sizing a duct or checking a charge stays yours, which matters if you are working on something confidential.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and how people arrive. It collects aggregate, anonymised information such as:
Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish one visit from another. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage. This data is used to decide which calculators to improve and which to build next. It is not sold, and it is not used to identify you.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install Google's browser opt-out add-on, or enable your browser's tracking protection. The calculators work identically either way — nothing on this site is gated behind analytics.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information necessary to deliver pages and protect against attacks — including IP addresses and request metadata. This is standard server operation and applies to every website you visit. Cloudflare's own privacy practices are published on their site.

The only cookies set by this site are those used by Google Analytics, described above. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels from social networks, and no third-party embeds are present at this time.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings without affecting any calculator on this site.
This site does not currently display advertising.
If that changes, this policy will be updated before any advertising is served, and this section will name the network involved and describe what it collects. Advertising networks typically use cookies to serve relevant ads, and any such use will be disclosed here with opt-out instructions at that time.
This site links to lorinos.com, the engineering practice that produces these tools, and occasionally to standards bodies and reference sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which govern once you leave here.
Because this site does not collect personal information beyond anonymised analytics, there is generally nothing held about you to access, correct or delete.
If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights — such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, or the CCPA in California — and you wish to make a request regarding analytics data, contact details are on the contact page. Analytics data can be deleted from the Google Analytics property on request, though it is not linked to an identifiable person.
This site is intended for professional and homeowner use in building science. It is not directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from them.
This policy will be updated when the site changes in a way that affects it — most likely if advertising is introduced. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
